 welcome to Jericho middle school

Jericho Middle School is a sensitive educational community in which we promote the social, emotional and intellectual growth of our students. Our focus is to provide a school setting that is responsive to their educational and developmental needs. Our vision, shared by students, educators, parents and community members, helps enable students to become good citizens, life-long learners and intellectually reflective individuals.

We were able to extend our deadline for personal Yearbook dedications UNTIL January 17, 2020. For only $10.

On behalf of the 8th grade community service classes, please donate gently used sports equipment, paper goods, and Metro cards to benefit Love Together Brasil and Momma's House. We are collecting through January 10th in the bins outside the Attendance Office. Thank you for your generosity!

The 7th grade girls’ leadership group is collecting donations for the North Shore Animal League Shelter until December 18th.  You can help us by bringing unopened bags or cans of food for dogs and cats, lightly used or new blankets, towels, sheets, toys, and catnip.  Please help us make this season a little brighter for the shelter pets.  You can drop any donations off in guidance.

Join the GSA after school Friday, 12/6 in Room 102 for a special meeting where we will be joined by guests from Japan looking to learn more about the rolls of GSA’s in schools and how LGBTQ-inclusive language can improve school climate.

Calling all Middle School students!!  The Student Leadership Council will have its first meeting on Monday, December 9th in Room 223.  Join Ms. Clemente and Ms. Adler for snacks and discussion!  Get involved to make your voices heard and to discuss relevant topics of interest to you!

Math Counts school competition will be held TODAY, December 6th and Friday December 11th in Room 215.

GSA Club with Ms. Waters will meet in Room 102.

Math Counts will meet in Room 215 with Ms. Schwirzbin and Ms. Mauro

Scrabble Club with Ms. Aubrey in Room 104.
