DAY 1

         

S.O.S. (Save Our Seal)Donations will be accepted throughout the week of Feb. 1st.  Make adonation and get the chance to pick a name for our seal.

 S.O.S., Save Our Sweatshirts - Please dropyour sweatshirts into the bin in the lobby of the middle school. We will bedonating these sweatshirts to poor and disadvantaged families in a town calledVilla Del Rio, Puerto Rico. The goal is to collect 500 sweatshirts!

 

Chinese club will meet on Wednesdays in room 116.                  

Diversity Club meets Thursdays in room 102.  Come be part of the team puttingtogether this year's day!

Gay-Straight Alliance anyone interestedin being involved in the GSA skit for Diversity Day must attend the meeting on Friday.We have a great act with room for some new faces!!

JayhawkNewspaper Club Extra, Extra, ReadAll About It! – The Jayhawk Newspaper Club meets Wednesday’s after schoolin Room 205. We are looking for writers, reporters, artists, poll takers,photographers, and more to help create our online paper. Refreshments areserved! Please see Mrs. O’Brien or Mrs. Welsh if you have any questions.

KUNG FU Club will meet EVERYWEDNESDAY in the lobby right outside the entrance to the boy’s lockerroom! Come get fit and learn some self-defense! See Mr. Pekor for details.

Lego Robotics Club has beencancelled for this Thursday and Monday. It will resume on Thursday, February 11th.

Math Counts will meet onFriday’s in room 219 from 2:05 to 2:45. If you have a passion for mathand enjoy a challenge this is the place for you.  All are welcome to try out for the Jerichomiddle school team.  Looking forward toseeing you!

The final Mathletes meetingsare scheduled for February 11th, and February 25th in room 215. There will be no meeting on February 4th.  Our competition willbe held on February 25th.  All contest participants are required to attendthe February 11th meeting.  Please speak to Ms. Panayiotou or Mrs. Eatz ifyou cannot attend the mandatory meeting.

Math Olympiads will meet in Ms. Lambe’s classroom- Room 113 - every Thursday! All 6th graders are welcome!!

Scrabble Club willmeet on Friday’s from 2:05-3:05.  Please come for a game ofScrabble or Chess.  All are welcome and snacks will be served.  Room112 

Strategy Games Club is back! We will be meeting on Thursdays2:05 - 3:05 in room 223. Come enjoy the snacks & refreshments while youexercise your mind.

TechnologyClub will meet on Monday’s in room 120.
