 welcome to Jericho middle school

Jericho Middle School is a sensitive educational community in which we promote the social, emotional and intellectual growth of our students. Our focus is to provide a school setting that is responsive to their educational and developmental needs. Our vision, shared by students, educators, parents and community members, helps enable students to become good citizens, life-long learners and intellectually reflective individuals.

PLEASE NOTE: All library books currently checked out are due back to the library by June 9

Please bring in your used or broken crayons so they can be recycled and donated to schools, children’s' hospitals, and art programs.  The bin can be found in the attendance office.

Ms. Dziura’s Competitive Science class will be collecting soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes’ and shampoo to donate to Global Camps Africa, an organization that teaches kids in Africa about disease prevention and hygiene. There will be a collection box outside the attendance office until June 9th. Please donate and help us collect as many supplies as we can!!

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month, and Jericho Middle School is celebrating by having a contest called “Guess the Smiley!”  So head over to the bulletin board between rooms 212 and 214, and try to guess the movie, book, or song that each set of emoji’s represents.  Then use the QR code to submit your answers!   Good Luck!!!

Anime Mural Club - Do you love Anime?  Do you like to draw?  Ms. Mignone and Mr. Porinchak are starting a new club! Join Us!  Use your talents to beautify our school.  Bring your sketches and your creativity!   We will be meeting on Wednesday’s after school from 2:15-3:15 in Room 229.

Garden Club will meet on Fridays in room 213 with Mrs. Viviano.  Join us as we have fun planting around the school to make JMS look beautiful.  Delicious snacks served ;)

HOMEWORK CLUB with Mr. Kuehn will be held in room 103 from 2:05-3:05 on Mondays.
